Recently I joined the Facebook group Gleaning from the Puritans. I enjoy their posts – they’re truly encouraging – and so I’ve been searching for things to share there. Here are a few words from Matthew Henry on providence. Searching like this reminds me of Jesus’ thrilling words which I’ve shared before.

Matthew 13:52

Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”
