The days are in the dust, Lord,
Scenes of long ago,
Like leaves blown down the street, Lord
They’re brittle, dry, and cold.
But You remain forever, true forever!

This brings peace, Cathy:
Hebrews 1
8 But of the Son He says,
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
And the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.
9 “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness above Your companions.”
10 And,
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the works of Your hands;
11 They will perish, but You remain;
And they all will become old like a garment,
12 And like a mantle You will roll them up;
Like a garment they will also be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not come to an end.”

Yes it does bring peace Maria. The Scriptures are so comforting. I’ve been praying recently, thanking the Lord that in the changing and troubling circumstances of our lives He remains the same. 🙌

Where have you been miss Maria? You have been absent from WordPress for a long time.
Are you okay?

You’ll probably have fun hearing that I’m coming around to the doctrines of grace miss Maria.
I don’t follow any reformer or creed, but my perspective has changed since we last visited.
I hope that you are well.

Lee, please pray I can blog again. Thank you! Talk again?
P.S. I was also struggling with online games and even spent money to play. Foolish. Only the Lord can turn us around. Gotta sign off for now, dear brother.

Bless your heart.
You know what??? 🙂
There’s not one Christian in the world who doesn’t have some sort of ongoing sin in their life.
Myself included.
But you know what?
We don’t earn righteousness or forgiveness.
When God passed over the Israelites before they left Egypt, God saw the blood, and they were safe from wrath.
He didn’t look to see which ones didn’t have ongoing sin in their life to pass over them, and spare them.
He looks for the blood.
Ain’t that great? 😀😀😀

Hi, Lee! Glad you’re my brother!
It’s a long story. Was ill and then overwhelmed. Have thought about quitting. Also sometimes the Christian blogging scene is contentious.
Are you and your wife Melissa and little one well?

I’m glad that you didn’t go away.
If for no other reason than for me to apologize to you.
Because I was contentious, and I’m sorry, please forgive me sister.
I’m glad you’re no longer sick.
Me and little Lacey are well, but Melissa is having really bad health issues.
It’s not covid, but neurological and heart problems.
We don’t have any answers yet, but going for more tests today.
