Come to Jesus! Jesus saves!
I recently posted an article written by a dear friend and brother in Christ, on a man’s pride, which leads to an unwillingness to be saved. After studying the scriptures and praying, my conclusion is, he is exactly right. You see dear friend, the Gospel, in its simplicity, is so very easy to understand. It is man that has diluted it and who makes it complicated. There is only one way, the Bible tells us, that we can be saved. And that is by believing on Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God. Believing that He came down from heaven, in the form of man, and gave freely his life for us and our sins, and rose from the grave to sit at the right hand of God. That’s it. There’s nothing else. There is no amount of work you can do to be saved. There is no…

Well, I think man’s pride doesn’t want it to be simple. Look at how RCC worships their god. Full of “do this” and “do thats.” All pagan religions come from the Genesis 3:15 foundation but along the way went off the rails making it more complicated and less to nothing of true worship to the only true God. From all God’s doing in our salvation to all man’s, even eliminating the cross in many religions..
Thanks for sharing this post, maria! God bless your day! \o/

Right, Sherry, man’s pride doesn’t want it to be simple. It would rather listen to “Hath God said?” than to be humbled at the Cross, and build its own stairway to heaven than agree with the Lord that we are helpless to save ourselves.
God bless you, sister!

When anyone says to you “all you have to do be saved is _____ _____ _____” then the next words out of their mouth will be a lie. There is NOTHING anyone can do to be saved. A person is saved when he is born again by the Spirit of God with no strings attached. Do not be deceived, beloved brethren.

Darrel, yes, it’s crystal clear, by grace through faith,
Ephesians 2
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
