It is likely that Christians in every age have felt that as sane men and women they were living in a madhouse. This seems to be the case for us today.
Jude 20,21
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Revelation 17:1,2
17 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

Roman Catholic Leaders Send Letter to Pope, Accusing Him of Heresies
Pulpit & Pen Newsroom
“A letter twenty-five pages long laid out the perceived heresies committed, taught or espoused by Pope Francis, was signed by 40 Roman Catholic Leaders and delivered to him to consider . . . Accusing Francis of being influenced by Luther, the document says…
‘In the second place, we feel compelled by conscience to advert to Your Holiness’s unprecedented sympathy for Martin Luther, and to the affinity between Luther’s ideas on law, justification, and marriage, and those taught or favoured by Your Holiness in Amoris laetitia and elsewhere necessary in order that our protest against the seven heretical propositions listed in this document may be complete; we wish to show, albeit in summary form, that these are not unrelated errors, but rather form part of a heretical system. . .’”

Oh my! I laughed at the end of the post because it said just what I was thinking from the beginning of it-did these papists mail it or post it on the door? I see it was emailed and is blocked from view by the citizens of Vatican City.
Could the reason that the RCC-lite Lutherans are so quick to join with the pope in ecumenical unity be because of the pope’s affinity to Luther, even erecting a statue of him in the Vatican? It remains to be seen if there will be prayers offered up to it…maybe the first one could be for these erring papists! Luther, Saint of papal heresies…
Have a blessed day, sis! \o/

Sherry, what a thought – praying to Luther! But they do pray to statues so maybe. . .
About Francis’s affinity with Luther: they are essentially different. Maybe Francis admires him for some reason known to himself, but I distrust Francis and think he is simply moving his agenda for globalization along, capturing liberal Lutherans at the moment, in commemoration of the 500th anniversary. May the Lord help us to watch and pray!

What a classic case of the “pot calling the kettle black”; this is a joke to those who have eyes to see, which most professing “Christians” do not have. Although nothing was stated as to the exact ‘heresy’ of the pope, you can book it that no one will call him out on Mary worship, or any of the other cardinal heresies of the RCC; their ‘complaint’ likely centers around their centuries old ‘traditions’ which are forever at odds with the Word of God. As for Luther, this is no surprise, rather another ploy to deceive those that are so easily deceived which is 95% +++ of professing Christendom. The “Protestant Movement” died with the introduction of the Jesuit free will heresy so readily accepted then and more so now—hence the ever growing number of ‘flavors’ from which to choose. The current “in-fighting” will likely turn out to be a publicity stunt to the praise of the antichrist pope who will ‘save the day’ and reunite the rebels under his control once again. Do not be deceived, beloved brethren.

Darrel, “Do not be deceived, beloved brethren!” should be our call. Yes, an accusation of heresy by such heretical men brings the proverb to life. They are blind guides of the blind. So sad! But the Lord continues to call people out of the counterfeit. May He be glorified!

Thanks for the reference, Maria! It will be quite interesting to see where this all leads to because there is no conceivable middle ground between Francis and the conservatives on this communion for remarried divorcees issue..

Tom, you’re right to focus on this point about the traditionalists controversy with Francis: there can be no compromise. Somewhere you said that this infighting is more significant and perilous to Rome than most of us think.

Pastor Jim, I almost want to say I’m afraid to see but am trusting the Lord Who will judge her.

Wow that’s true considering the long run where this is going…I pray many would repent and leave Rome and trust fully unto Christ for salvation.
