Does Jesus understand our plight? Psalm 22 shows that He does… \o/

Sherry, it does. He understands all of it.
Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

What a wonderful testament to the Graciousness, Kindness, and Love of the Lord Jesus to His people. This Psalm begins with the words that Jesus would groan while on the Cross and continues on to show the Loving hand of the Father throughout ALL our trials. “But I am a worm and no man…” Have you ever known the blessedness of being broken before the Lord? How did you repent if there was never any brokenness? Do the trials that we suffer make you complain (who doesn’t complain?)? Yet these same trials are for our (the true believer) good as purposefully designed and administered by our Loving Father (Heb. 12:1-17). Have you yet “resisted (sin) unto bloodshed?” Who has, except Christ? The discipline of the Father is ALWAYS for our good and His glory and who is it that would pass up the opportunity to walk with the Lord during the ‘bad’ times? It’s never ‘easy’ being disciplined or tested by the Lord, nor would I make light of that, but He is ALWAYS there in the midst of our dark times and will ALWAYS lead us through. Try not to miss His blessings by complaining too much.

Darrel, I will ask Him for His grace not to complain when I suffer or am chastened. Thank you for counseling this! Yes, He is so good to us and what He did for us is shown in this amazing passage. His goodness can only be shown in the holy words that came from Him. Lord bless you, brother!
