  1. aCk! I don’t think this is what Jesus meant by doing good to those who hate you…Luke 6:27…wow…does anyone ask God how He feels about these things before they do them anymore?

  2. Syncretism, plain and simple. “Islamisizing” the ones who don’t bother to read what’s written in God’s Word, the ones who think that all religions call to the same God. That is why we are told beforehand the deception will deceive “if even the elect”. 2 main frontal attacks America is facing, The Homosexual Agenda, and Political Correctness (utilized by Islam promoters.) Btw, this same Islam can question the Divinity of Christ, are the very same ones who forbid people to raise questions about their Satanic religion. There is only one God and Islam prays to a different god, the god of destruction.

    • Caeli, you’re right to say that we do not worship the same God as Islam. Their god Allah is another god. This idol cannot be the same as the Lord God Almighty, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for whoever does not have the Son does not have the Father.
I agree about these 2 frontal attacks – they are like snares set for all.
      Syncretism, yes! deadly.

        • Yes, from within.
          Acts 20
25 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.”
Caeli, yesterday I saw that Presbyterian Church USA has done something like this also. There are unregenerate men misleading God’s precious sheep.

        • We have watched this happen since the 300s with the christianizing of paganism in the church at Rome. A clever strategy of the enemy of our souls and its been working quite well all along, especially among those who do not exercise discernment and separation from the world.

  3. Indeed, I struggle in my walk and get entangled with momentary distractions from seeking the Lord, but Thank God that our salvation is secure as mentioned in John 3:16, whoever believes will have ETERNAL life. One cannot obtain something eternal- irrevocable, if one could actually lose it, refering to 1 John 2:19, “They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.” unless that person never had the Holy Spirit testifying within that he/she belongs to the Lord.

Not to sound judgmental, I read a few posts from professing Christians whose theology and mentality do not line up with Scriptures which disturbs me greatly, but we have The One True God who restores. 🙂

I am glad to find you here.

    • Caeli, you are rightly dividing the Word of Truth, I believe, in seeing that if they have left the faith that then they never possessed God’s gift of faith and eternal life, in regard to John 3:15 (eternal life is just that, eternal, you can’t lose it) and in regard to 1 John 2:19 (they did not have faith and so they departed). We’re told to judge with righteous judgment, remembering our own sin, and to not judge those outside the faith but those who profess that they have faith but live in sin.
From what I can see, struggling is something we endure, for faith is not sight yet, and we must examine ourselves to see if we possess faith. But the Lord, the Spirit, witnesses to us that we are God’s children, despite the reality that some days are difficult and we can’t feel that we are His.
You are to be commended for your love of pure faith and God’s Word and for desiring to be a Christian wife and Mom who pleases the Lord in all ways, your walk and relationships.
