Forgiveness from God,
and forgiveness for others,
is joy made complete
for all loving brothers.
The Lord’s forgiveness:
Luke 23:33-34
And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
.
Christian forgiveness:
Act 7:59-60
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

I see you have only just started blogging! I detect a gentle spirit which is much needed on the internet today. I think you probably have much more to say than you realise. Good for you and keep up the good work!

Dear anitameg,
I was just sitting down after doing the dishes to read your post Taming the Internet Beast, part two – the cons.
Thank you for your encouraging words – they mean a lot! My journey with blogging has been longer than you might think. This blog is new, though. I’m trying to listen better to the Lord after learning more.
May the Lord continue to lead you!
Maria

Amen! I found your blog by reading a discussion you were having with an author of another blog. I was very pleased with everything you said.

Pastor Joe, thank you for your encouragement! It’s hard to stand our ground, but once we understand what God’s Word declares, we have to do this.
What struck me in these verses is that Stephen, the first to die for Jesus, spoke as He had spoken at His death.
In His joy,
Maria
